Best Jordan Basketball Shoes

This hub lists 28 shoes, all from Jordan. Listed weights run from 13 oz (Jordan CMFT Tour 2) to 16.2 oz (Air Jordan 13 Retro), averaging 15.1 oz. Heel-to-toe drops range from 8 to 9 mm.

By cut height there are 5 low-cut, 13 mid-cut, and 10 high-cut; by manufacturer price band 2 budget, 8 mid, and 18 premium. 6 of the 28 carry an outdoor rating; the rest are indoor shoes. On fit, Jordan Zion 3 is listed as wide; everything else is standard width.

18 models here are signature shoes and 10 are non-signature or team models. Signature status says nothing about fit, so compare on weight, cut and cushioning rather than on the name on the tongue. In this hub the 5 low-cut models average 14.1 oz against 15.3 oz for the 23 mid and high cuts, so the low-tops are the lighter group.

By our position classification the roster covers small forwards (25), shooting guards (9), power forwards (7), point guards (2).

If you play mostly outdoors, start with the 6 outdoor-rated models — indoor outsoles are generally softer rubber and wear faster on asphalt.
